Lotti Leibnitz embodies happiness, mischief. Cosiness, ease. Grief, sorrow. Spontaneity, curiosity. Spiritedness, action. Tragedy, humour. Emotion, intimacy. Love, humbleness.
For me, creativity is the opportunity to let thoughts and emotions flow freely in a world of tranquility, far beyond the current, rather hectic reality of everyday life. During the hours of creation, everyday life seems to slowly dissolve while seemingly shut doors open themselves as if by magic in order to give unlimited access to one's own imagination.
Lotti Leibnitz verkörpert Freude, Übermut. Gemütlichkeit, Leichtigkeit. Trauer, Schmerz. Spontanität, Neugier. Mut, Aktion. Tragik, Komik. Gefühl, Vertrautheit. Liebe, Demut.
Kreativität ist für mich die Gelegenheit, Emotionen und Gedanken frei fliessen zu lassen in einer Welt der Stille, fernab der gegenwärtigen, oftmals hektischen Realität. Es sind Stunden, in denen der Alltag sich wie durch Zauberhand auflöst und verschlossen geglaubte Türen sich magisch öffnen für einen uneingeschränkten Zugang zur eigenen Fantasie.

My Works of Art embody the beauty in the ordinariness and the extraordinary in the normality. Depending on the colour gradient and choice of focus, tragedy and vitality blend into one story, where colours glow and patterns mourn, where subjects narrate and sentences paint. Everyday life and dreams intertwine, thus forming a free flowing unit, while time seems to have stopped in the attempt to capture the extraordinary within reality, holding on to its most trivial beauty.

Meine Werke verkörpern das Schöne im Gewöhnlichen und das Aussergewöhnliche in der Normalität. Je nach Farbverlauf und Fokus vermischt sich Tragik mit purer Lebensfreude, lässt so Farben glühen und Formen trauern, Motive erzählen und Sätze malen.
Je nach Intensität verschmelzen Allag und Träume zu einem fliessenden Ganzen, welches die Zeit für einen Moment lang still stehen lässt, im Versuch, das Aussergewöhnliche einzufangen, um so die Realiät in ihrer banalen Schönheit zu spüren und festzuhalten.
